Teas is the tea line created for Elaine's Tea
Shoppe (Featured in Midwest Living Magazine,
February, 2006 and was founded in 2002
by Elaine Terman, with the idea in mind of
bringing the joy of tea to others. Through her commitment, experience, and
a passion for tea, Elaine has gathered a well-rounded
collection of teas from around the world for you to
enjoy, as well as fine tea accessories. At Wild Orchid
Teas, it is our mission to
provide you with the the most pleasurable and satisfying tea
drinking experience
possible.
Our motto in a nutshell is, "Elegant
Simplicity." You'll find our web site
elegant and uncluttered by ads or other annoying
debris. You'll find it simple and easy to
navigate. With over 3000 varieties of tea bush
in the world and teas produced that are too
numerous to count, we've attempted to make this vast world
of tea a bit less confusing. You'll find our
collection of fine teas divided into 9 convenient
categories. We've tried to design a balanced
collection with something for everyone from the novice to
the more experienced tea drinker. And, a part of our
mission is to help provide a very user-friendly environment
in which to explore the wonderful world of tea.
Our teas are packaged in Mylar zip
lock bags at the time of your order to help keep your tea
fresh and protected from light. Besides the basic teas in each
category, you'll also find some Wild Orchid
Teas exclusive blends. These delicious, mostly
flavored tea blends have been created to add a bit of
spice to your life. All of our teas use only natural
flavorings and the freshest herbs and blending ingredients
we can find. Since health is a major issue to us, we
continually work to find and add more organic
teas and herbs.
We also wanted to
provide a unique line of tea accessories and contemporary
methods of tea preparation. The French Tea Press
continues to be our best seller, and is the most 'elegantly
simple' way we've found to prepare a great cup of
tea. Our focus has become making the preparation
of loose leaf tea easy and enjoyable. Our goal is to
make it easy for you to bring the enjoyment of fine tea into
your daily life.
And, last but not least, we are
